26 mrt. 2023

The band will perform at stadium, festivals, and arenas internationally beginning in June

32 years ago today was it not only my brother Roger's birthday but a little known band called Guns 'n' Roses signed to Geffen records.

That's where the similarity ends as my brother, a tee total vegan celebrated his not so exciting birthday shenanigans, Guns and Roses were about to blow their advance on heroin and other recreational drugs.

Less than 5 years later these rock n roll reprobates had become one of the biggest bands in the world with their smash album Appetite for destruction.

Althought the album had been predceded by an EP and was released with little to no coverage, after constant touring and some radio airplay, a year later the album took off.

With tracks like Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine and Paradise City the album became a commercial success and is now one of the best selling rock albums of all time.

Fast forwardin' to today and after many years of turmoil, line up changes, stints in rehab G 'n' R are once again hitting the road in a big way to tour the middle east, europe and north america.
