Nita Strauss reunites with Alice Cooper for upcoming tour.

Nita Strauss left The Godfather of Shock Rock’s band last year. Having been with them since 2014, she left to join Demi Levato’s backing band.

Recently Strauss returned to Cooper’s band, and announced she’ll be taking part in his upcoming headline tour dates, aswell as support slots with Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe, plus his co-headlining shows with Rob Zombie.

Upon welcoming Strauss back into the fold, Cooper simply declared “she’s back.”

Before explaining the situation, he gave a fond farewell to classic ‘80s guitarist Kane Roberts who took Strauss’ place in the interim.

“I’m thankful to my old friend Kane Roberts for stepping up and filling in for her, but she’ll be back with us for the new tour that starts up in late April. It’s going to be great to have her back.”

Alice explained “Nita asked for a leave of absence to work with someone else, something I always encourage my band members to do. I like them to challenge themselves and try new things."

Nita Strauss has also released a new track "Winner takes all" and features Alice Cooper on lead vocals.

‘Winner Takes All’ comes ahead of Strauss’ new, forthcoming album, set for release later this\year.

It will be the follow-up to her 2018 debut, Controlled Chaos.

“When we were working on the music for this album, there was no question that I wanted to create a song to collaborate with my longtime boss and friend, the legendary Alice Cooper.

I think the track accomplishes what we set out to do: showcase Alice’s voice and signature style on the backdrop of a heavy, modern rock track.

After many years of lending my style of playing to Alice’s music onstage,

it was truly an honor to work together and hear his voice on one of my songs.”
